love meets bouquets (how to)

As an attendant for the bride, you're a very important cast member in her special day. She takes the time to pick out the perfect bridesmaid dresses, hires a hair stylist and make up artist, and picks out beautiful flowers for you to carry.

So why ruin it all by being an awkward turkey with the bouquet! Here is a quick how-to on carrying a bouquet:

  1. Drop both arms to your sides
  2. Relax your shoulders
  3. Bend your arms at your elbow and bring your hands up to your belly button
  4. Hold the bouquet at the base where the stems/handle meets the bundle of flowers

Your forearms should NOT be parallel to the ground - no 90 degree angles. Your forearms should be angled toward the ground.

Resist the urge the carry it like a lollipop - a lot of girls get nervous and their inclination is to hide behind their flowers.  Besides, you don't want to hide the great details of your dress!

Until we meet again...
